Another of the Burgas museums takes on the martenitsas marathon. An exhibition and bazaar of martenitsas expects visitors in the lobby of the Archaeological Museum in Burgas (21 Bogoridi St.) The exhibited beautiful martenitsas are made of natural materials and follow the old Bulgarian traditions from the time of Khan Asparuh. Different colored wool, colorful wooden beads, over 15 types of minerals in all colors of the rainbow connect the old, timeless traditions and the new, modern trends of this typical Bulgarian garment. Anyone who liked them, can visit us and buy them in the museum at a price between 0.50 to 2 BGN.
