The gold of Khan Kubrat is now in Burgas!

On May 14, the exhibition "Memories of the Greater Bulgaria: The Treasure of Khan Kubrat from Malaya Pereshchepina" arrived at the Archaeological Museum in Burgas, expecting its opening on May 21, Saturday, from 18:00.
The treasure includes royal scepter, riton, utensils, belt connectors, etc. - part of 800 objects, found more than one hundred years ago near the Ukrainian village of Malaya Pereshchepina. The total weight of the treasure at the moment of finding was 75 kg, of which 50 kg were silver and 25 kg - pure gold.
