Friday, 17 Jun 2016 - Global
Regional History Museum Burgas will participate in "Father's Day 2016" - part of the national campaign "Being a father" of ten Bulgarian NGOs, united to promote the active participation of men in child care.
According to the authors of the campaign from Parents Association, men have great importance for the development of children, and if this relationship is strong, it impacts positively on both - men and their families. "Being a father" is part of a campaign for paternal care called MenCare, which is implemented in nearly 35 countries on five continents. Within it there are two major annual events - the International Father's Day on the third Sunday of June, which this year is 19.06, and the Father's Week during the second week of November.

Committed to the campaign and to encourage Bulgarian fathers to spend more time with their children, on 19.06.2016 (Sunday), the expositions of Burgas Museum - Archaeological, Historical and Ethnographic will work with 50% discount on tickets for visit of fathers with children. This means that for children over 7 years the ticket will be 1 BGN and for the father - 2.5 BGN, children under 7 years - free of charge.
