Kukerovden in the Ethnographic Museum

On March 7th (Thursday), students of the 2nd Grade from School "Episkop K. Preslavski" - Burgas will recreate the custom of kukeri at 13:30 h. The young people will call the spring in the yard of the Ethnographic Museum (69 Slavyanska Str.)

The event is part of the activities of the project "Traditional calendar for girls and bachelors - a museum guide for the teacher". It is realized by the Regional Museum of History in Burgas in partnership with Sofia University Preslavski University and the financial support of the Ministry of Culture under the Museum as an Educational Environment Program.

The "Regular Calendar for Ladies and Bisexuals" project aims to support the activities of teachers in the initial stage of learning when introducing children to the traditional Bulgarian holiday calendar. It takes the form of a program that includes specially designed role-playing games and children's audience. By adopting an interactive way, children will be involved in recreating the Bulgarian traditional culture.
