House "Thracian han" Sozopol presents joint ethnographic exhibition

On 16.07.2016, from 11.00 in House "Thracian han", Sozopol a joint ethnographic exhibition of the National Museum of History, Regional Museum Yambol and Municipal Cultural Institute "Museum Center" - Sozopol will be open under the name "Colour and mysticism. The costume speaks".

In the renewed project "Sozopol - preserved cultural heritage and identity through the centuries" house "Thracian han" presents male and female costumes from different regions of the Bulgarian lands: Danube Plain, Dobrudzha, Thrace, Rhodopes, Shopluk and refugees from Aegean Thrace, Asia Minor and Macedonia. They are shown in groups of major types: two-approned, sukman and Sayan (for women) and white and coloured for men. Shown are also female jewellery from the XVIII - early XX century, which are an integral part of the decoration of the female costume.
