Natural History Museum Burgas seeks sponsor for preemption of fossils found near Kraimorie

About 2 years ago with the help of students from Burgas Free University, Natural History Museum Burgas bought off extremely rare ammonite aged 136 million years. Thus the special fossil remained in Bulgaria and everyone can see it in the museum.[shrink]

Today we are facing almost the same problem. These amazing fossil of 3 clams Fimbria major and snail shell of the species Campanile lachesis found in the rocks near Kraimorie, are offered for sale on the internet. We need 1,000 BGN for their redemption and preservation of Bulgaria.

If you decide to make a donation for their redemption, please contact for more information Svetla Dalakchieva (tel. +359896695379, e-mail: priroda@burgasmuseums.bg)
