Scientists discuss the common cultural heritage in the cross-border region on April 26 and 27

Regional historical museum Burgas organizes the first scientific conference dedicated to the research and socialization of the archaeological site Aquae Calidae. "The Ancient City of Aquae Calidae and the Rock Monastery of St. Nicholas - Opportunities and Problems of the Cultural and Historical Heritage in the Cross-Border Region" will be held on 26 and 27 April 2018 in the hall of Art Gallery "Petko Zadgorski" - Burgas (24 Mitropolit Simeon Str.).

The offical opening will be at 13:30 h.

At 14:00 h. begins the first panel "History and Archaeology", moderator will be Assoc.Prof. Dimcho Momchilov - head of research of the archaeological site Aquae Calidae. Follow panel "Restoration and Conservation" and on the second day will be panel "Tourism". Among the participants in the conference will be Prof. Ivan Yordanov, Assoc. Prof. Stella Doncheva, PhD Miroslava Dotkova, PhD Yoto Valeriev, arch. Peev and arch. Donchev, the directors of both project partners Necmi Asan (Turkey) and Milen Nikolov (Bulgaria), representatives of the museums and the cultural institutes in Burgas Region.
