Thursday, 01 Jun 2017 - Global
From 1 June to 30 September, the expositions of the Regional Historical Museum Burgas will be open for visitors every day between 10.00 - 19.00 hours.

Traditionally, the museum works without a break in the summer months and the exhibition "Live Butterflies" of Natural History Museum Burgas (30, K. Fotinov Str.) will open at the beginning of July in Expo Center Flora.

For the tourist season, three of the most impressive treasures related to the glorious history of our ancestors - "The oldest gold in Europe - the treasures of the Varna Chalcolithic Necropolis, "The Thracian treasure from Borovo" and "Treasure of Nadsentmiklos" can be seen in hall Trezore of the Archaeological Museum (21, Bogoridi Str.) Besides treasures, the Archaeological Museum presents its renewed hall "Middle Ages" along with valuable finds from the "Archaeological excavations of the Burgas Museum".

In the Historical Museum (31 Lermontov Str.), the guest exhibition "Tsar Ferdinand's century" by RHM Veliko Tarnovo will be shown for the summer season. The exhibition "Bulgarian refugees in our memory", which continues to enrich its collection with new additions, is displayed at the Ethnographic Museum (69 Slavyanska Str.)
