Behind the attractive title of the exhibition "Bears, wood grouse and wild goats more rarely inhabit our forests" you’ll find curious details about the life, biology and threats to these three endangered species and why their numbers rapidly declined in our forests.
Using an interactive installation, visitors can find on the map of Bulgaria places, where these three species are still found and such where they already disappeared. From panels with text and photographs, visitors will learn about the clothing, marital status, address registration and lifestyle of all three species. Part of the exhibition is a puzzle with the animal’s favourite menu at "Forest restaurant". The surprising answers are hidden under flaps with curious quizzes and more. The youngster visitors can hear the animals roar and see photographs of beautiful wildlife. For the very little ones there is a special labyrinth with folk tales about the three animals

The exhibition is a project of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Foundation in partnership with Association „Biosphere”, Haskovo and it travelled to Burgas at the invitation of the Regional History Museum. The three species are not randomly selected - they inhabit the same forests, they are iconic and extremely endangered.

In Burgas the interactive exhibition "Bears, grouse and wild goats more rarely inhabit our forests" will be for first time on display and can be seen from March 12th to the end of April, every weekday from 10:00 to 16:45 in the Natural History Museum on 30 K.Fotinov St.
