The Roads of the 24th Black Sea Infantry Regiment

On 11th May, 2010 in the Historical, an exhibition dedicated to 65th anniversary of the end of World War II was opened for the public under the title "The Roads of the 24th Black Sea Infantry Regiment”.
The exhibition includes photo documentary materials and maps showing the Bulgarian participation in WWII during 1944-1945. The Presentation was in collaboration with the National Museum of Military History - Sofia.
Special emphasis is placed on the participation of the 24th Black Sea Infantry Regiment in the period between April 1941 and May 1945. Reconstruction of the command post, original photos, objects and weapons of soldiers who died at the front are displayed for the public. The opening celebration was attended by veterans from Burgas region.
