Summer School on traditional folk crafts and contemporary applied arts - schedule

On 21 June 2010 in the Ethnographic complex (69 Slavyanska str.), Summer School on traditional folk crafts and contemporary applied arts was officially opened. We offer workshops in the following areas:

1. Paintings, prints, stained glass, painting on fabric, making collages, modelling, colouring ceramics - from Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 14:00 between 21st of June to 31st of August. Every week “Armstrong Center” will be presenting new techniques and materials.

2. Ceramics - work on a potter's wheel and creation of sculptures and ceramics – Every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 - between 6th of July to 31st of August.
Head of workshop: Mr.Ivan Arabadzhiev

3. Designing own jewellery and souvenirs, clothing decoration (beaded, metal and textiles) - Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00 - From 1st of July to 31st of August.
Head of workshop: Ms.Evelina Ribarova

4. Crochet and Bulgarian embroidery - Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 14:00, between 1st of July – 31st of August.
Head of workshop: Mrs.Krasimira Dubarova
