Mint a coin as the people in ancient times

The Archaeological Museum in Burgas offers visitors to mint themselves a coin using the ancient method for it with a special matrix, hammer and anvil.
Handmade coin is an original souvenir which approximates closest to the coins minted by the ancient Romans. On the heads (obverse) is the Roman emperor Septimius Severus (193-211 A.D), who for 13 years in the ancient city of Aquae Calidae he organized games dedicated to the Three nymphs - guardians of the mineral springs, whose image can be seen on the reverse of the coin.
For the convenience of tourists every coin minted in the Archaeological Museum (Burgas, ul. Bogoridi 21), is accompanied by a certificate in which the museum specialists enter the name of the coin master. It ensures that the souvenir does not represent a cultural monument and can be exported outside Bulgaria.
