The famous musicians - Angel Zaberski (piano), Stoyan Yankulov - Stundji (percussion) and Boris Taslev (double bass) will perform pieces from their second album, which features famous operas and plays in a contemporary jazz version. The composer Angel Zabersky has managed to preserve the author's ideas and melodies so that they are easily recognized by the audience but at the same time interprets them with a sense of freedom and ample, typical of jazz. The music of the album Like Jazz reminds of late romanticism, even with impressionistic notes. The appearance of the three musicians is maximally revived, precisely in order for the melody to be deprived of aggression or unnecessary display, and to read the romance in it.
As a stage for this unusual musical evening was chosen the most cozy green spot in the middle of Burgas - the yard of the Ethnographic Museum (69 Slavyanska St.). The concert will be free of charge, yet the jazz lovers will have the opportunity to contribute to a noble cause. All gathered donations from the evening will go for the restoration of two valuable music instruments from the collections of Burgas cultural institutions. One is the grand piano of Burgas Art Gallery "Petko Zadgorski", which for years needs a serious repair and the second is a piano owned by the Regional Library "P. Yavorov".
Organizers of the project "Jazz in the Museum" in the sea town are Association "Cause Culture" and Regional historical museum Burgas with the support of Regional Library "P. Yavorov".
