About the collection online

Regional historical museum Burgas offers online access to objects in its collection consisting of four main departments with own classification – Archaeology, Ethnography, History and Natural History.
The collection database present the digitalization process that is undertaken by the museum experts and is solely their own responsibility. The database is structured and used according the Bulgarian Cultural Heritage Act and Ordinance № Н-6 from 11.12.2009 (Ministry of Culture) for the establishment and management of museum collections, and the European legislation for management of a system for access and use of digital objects. It is partly public due to the requirements of the Bulgarian Legislations.
