THE MILITARY ACTIONS OF 1/24 BATTALION IN WORLD WAR II - 2nd PHASE - 1944-1945
according to the memories of Colonel George Dobrinov

Over the rocky peaks of Serbia and Macedonia, in the desolate Pannonian Plain and in Austria forever remain hundreds of fighters from Burgas region. Fortunately, many of them came back alive, and with them the memories of those terrible days. "Many heroes had fallen. Today they stand on dead watch, away from their homeland, to challenge the world that they fell to defend the global cause - peace to rule the world." This is part of the memories shared by Colonel Georgi Stefanov Dobrinov - commander of the 1st Battalion to 24 Regiment during World War II. His detailed notes and diagrams are preserved in the collections of the Regional Historical Museum - Burgas.
