Fish kebab in a clay pot
Ingredients: 700g fish fillet, 150g (3 / 4 cup) vegetable oil, 500g leek (4-5 sticks), 300g (4-5 pcs.) red tomatoes, 2 eggs, 50g (1/3 cup) yoghurt, ½ bundle parsley, 5 pcs. marinated red paprika, 200ml (1 cup) white wine, 50g cheese, 1 lemon, 2-3 hot peppers, seeds black pepper and salt to taste.
The fish is cut into pieces, add salt and stew in some of the fat. Cut the leek into slices and stew it in the remaining oil until soft, then add chopped tomatoes and red paprika, wine, black pepper and chopped parsley. Put the fish on top, pour in beaten eggs mixed with yogurt and sprinkle with grated cheese. The dish is baked until the fat remains. Serve with lemon and hot peppers.

On October 31, 2010, once again we will be celebrating the International Day of the Black Sea, which has become a symbol of our concern for the purity of our sea and the protection of its inhabitants.
The Black Sea is home to more than 1500 species of living organisms. Let's give them a chance to continue their existence and not to destroy their home.
A special glass case in the Natural-history exposition of RIM Burgas displays the new types of flora and fauna, which invaded the Black Sea during the recent years.
The Burgas initiative "NIGHT OF SCIENTISTS IN BULGARIA 2010"organized by the RIM - Burgas, took place in the Library of Burgas Free University on September 24th at 18:00 in the evening.
Science café was interesting and fruitful. The presentation of Prof. Andon Lazarov was expected with great interest, everybody wanted to meet in person the scientist who is engaged in space research in Burgas. In his exposé he presented to the public the possibilities of using space data in archaeological studies.
The event attended people of different age, occupation, social status and interests - children, students, adults, researchers, museum workers, archaeologists, artists, teachers, academics, journalists, intellectuals and ordinary citizens.
Two new experimental shows - "Eyes" by Ivan Arabadzhiev and "Burgas and Genoa in the bosom of the sea "by Evelyn Ribarova, captured the attention of the viewers.
Scientists' Night is held for the first time in the city of Burgas and the Burgas media enthusiastically promoted and covered the event. Thank You!
On October 4, 2010, the Ethnographic Museum was visited by 150 German tourists from the first moored in Burgas city passenger ship. RIM Burgas and the local tour operator Teddy Cam succeeded despite the strict fixed time, to create a perfect organization for the visit of four groups. The German tourists followed carefully the tour guide of the museum curator and were highly impressed by the attractive demonstration of crochet and didn’t miss to try the fruits of jujube in the museum yard.
Regional Historical Museum - Burgas participates in the joint project "Night of Scientists, Bulgaria 2010" together with Medical Institute – Plovdiv, Academy of Music, Dance and Fine Arts - Plovdiv, Varna Free University, University of Shumen "Episkop Konstantin Preslavski" and the Foundation for Science and Research ISTUD Italy.
"Night of Scientists 2010" takes place in 32 European countries and more than 200 European cities, among which Burgas participates for first time. The concept of this event is to meet up with the vast and fascinating world of science as to become a tradition among the ambitious young people.
Co-organizer of the event is Burgas Free University - the most prominent academic institution in the city of Burgas. Other important participants will be the students from High school of Mathematics and Science "Academician N. Obreshkov".
The initiative in Burgas includes the following events:
