The monument of A.S. Pushkin -
Description
Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin (1799 - 1837) is a Russian poet and humanist, he is considered to be one of the founders of modern European literature. His most celebrated works "Ruslan and Lyudmila”, "Eugene Onegin", "A Feast during the Plague” and many others, remain the audience’s favourite on stage or on paper all over the world.

The famous Burgas artist Petko Zadgorski is author of the 2,20m high bronze statue. On the 24th February 1952, the monument was unveiled for the viewers with huge celebration in honour of the great poet.
