The Burgas Free University in partnership with the Burgas Museum is implementing a project for training of experts for digitization of immovable cultural heritage. The project is under the Erasmus + program, and its leader is Assoc. Prof. Yanislav Zhelev from BSU. In the period 21-25 June, the project team was in Porto, Portugal, where a meeting was held with other participants in the project - representatives of cultural institutions such as universities and museums from Latvia, Portugal and Italy. In the course of the work, the results achieved so far were presented and the future tasks to be performed were identified. The aim of the project is to train experts in the field of museums, culture and tourism in the technological process of digitalization of rites and rituals in traditional cuisine in different countries. The entire training course will be freely accessible on a specially created online platform, which can be used by any representative of a cultural or scientific organization aimed at digitizing intangible cultural heritage.
