Burgas citizen saved one of the first signs of Lermontov Street

An old sign, dismantled during the renovation of Lermontov Street in Burgas, was brought to the History Museum by a vigilant citizen. Andrei Kudev noticed that the old sign was taken down and would be scrapped. To save the historical object, he took it and cleaned it, then handed it over to the museum specialists.
In order to preserve more signboards, the Historical Museum calls on citizens and workers from the renovation of the central part to bring them old urban elements from the historical core of Burgas.
The municipal territorial directorate of Primorie also took part in the call of the historians. From there, instructions have been sent to the companies to keep old street signs and take them to the museum.
More information about where and how to submit such items can be found on tel. 056 841 815 or directly at the Historical Exposition of RHM-Burgas (31, Lermontov Str., Opposite First District Police Department).
