The Ethnographic Museum of Burgas became a film set

This weekend (22-23.11.2014) the Ethnographic Museum in Burgas became a stage of some scenes from the new Bulgarian film "Sling David" directored by Svetoslav Ovcharov.

Prof. Ovcharov is known for his involvement with three of his feature films of Sofia Film Fest by the Sea - "List otbrlulen" (2001) with Merry Kazakova and Ivan Burnev in the lead roles, "The only love story, A Farewell to Hemingway" (2009) with Chris Hyuslar, Gergana Pletniova and Russia Chanev, "Backstage" (2010) with Ivan Burnev Kasiel and Noah Asher.

The action of the new film developes during the Balkan war. The film is supported by EA National Film Centre and the Bulgarian Ministry of Culture.
