Culinary Festival "The Delicious Dishes of Strandzha" in Burgas



Try the delicious traditional dishes of the people of Strandzha Mountain and talk to its culinary masters. We are happy to be part of the Burgas Holidays and will introduce you to the culinary tradition and skilled guardians of Strandzha cuisine from 9 settlements in four municipalities - Malko Tarnovo, Sredets, Tsarevo and Burgas, from the Burgas region. In the cozy courtyard of the Ethnographic Museum - Burgas we will cook Strandzha dishes from Malko Tarnovo, the village of Brashlyan, the village of Zvezdets, the village of Momina Tsarkva, the village of Brodilovo, Ahtopol, the village of Sinemorets, the village of Marinka and Burgas. Come and try Zelnik and Trahana from Malko Tarnovo, Fish Soup from Brashlyan, Soda Pie from Zvezdets on a Podnik, Stuffed Chicken with Bulgur, Greek Pie and Cheese Cookies from Momina Tsarkva, Beans with “Nozhonki” (Pork’s Feet), Dried Peppers Stuffed with Bulgur, Leeks, Mushrooms and Greens, Rice with Pickles from Brodilovo, Plakia Palamud, Caviar and Lakerda from Ahtopol, Fish Cream Soup from Sinemorets, Prazenik and Panayrdzhiyska Mandja from Marinka, Fish Soup by Moryashki and Chiroz from Burgas. The goal of the Culinary Festival is to promote the culinary traditions of the people of Strandja Mountain, to motivate local people to cook and present their delicious dishes, as well as to familiarize the residents and guests of Burgas with the history and traditions of the Strandja region. The culinary festival "Delicious Dishes of Strandzha" in Burgas is organized by the Culinary Festivals of Bulgaria and the Burgas Regional Historical Museum.
