On the International Black Sea Day – October 31, the Natural History Museum at RHM – Burgas presents an exhibition “Black Sea – Unique and Unknown”. 7 panels introduce visitors to some not-so-known facts related to our sea and coast, supported by scientific data, artistic diagrams and photographs. A 3D model of the seabed is shown, as well as a reconstruction of the remains of an Ottoman wooden ship, discovered at a depth of 300 m. Rock samples are exhibited, the destruction of which is associated with the origin of the sands on our shores.
The exhibition draws public attention to the problems of the Black Sea basin and ways to protect it as one of the most vulnerable marine ecosystems in the world.
Welcome to the Natural History Exhibition of RHM-Burgas.
