Time for prepare traditional winter canned food

In winter, one of the most important traditional products for every household is sauerkraut. It is put on in late autumn, before the big frosts set in.
On Monday (30.10.2023), at 10:00 in the Ethno-kitchen (69 Slavyanska Street) we will put the museum sauerkraut. The cabbages are healthy, crispy and fresh, from the village of Zhelyazovo. We rely on Todorka Atanasova, the most experienced in this work, to keep the exact ratio of cabbage, water and salt and for the other subtleties.
The weather is still warm, we run the risk that the "lahanata" will ferment faster and we will have to start with the sarmas soon...
